Glas / Hungry Moon

“Hungry Moon” is the third single Lisbet Fritze and Loui Foo release under their name Glas.
“The song explores ecological issues, while also describing human relationships, via imagery of mountains, oceans and volcanoes” says the duo.
“We wanted to create a duality of two distinct vocal parts. Almost like a duet between night and day. In one, dreamy vocals are interwoven into a fabric of layered guitars, creating a chant. In contrast, the other features a groovy, spacious arrangement with dry vocals.”
The lyrics raise the impossible questions about the well-being of our world, and feelings of Weltschmerz. “Hungry Moon” addresses big-scale frustrations while simultaneously delving into more human scale feelings of big dreams, loss, and insufficiency.
